How much does it cost?
- You need to buy a GSM Modem or mobile phone, cost depends on GSM Modem, it is around 250 - 400 $
- You need to buy SMS Server Gateway software, to handle incoming sms, send broadcast and automate reply.
- Operational cost is depends on how many sms you send each months. GSM / CDMA operators has their own price, you need to consult to your GSM / CDMA operator/ provider
How can I get someone subscribe into our SMS center?
- You can adveertise your new SMS Center using a local news, flyer or put it on you website. Tell people to send sms message to your SMS Center number. You can give the incentive such as discount, or anything else to motivate you audience to send sms text message
- Always put your SMS Center number on your print media, Name card etc.
When I send SMS broadcast to my database, can I modify sender name into my company name, something like “Sender: Company A”
- No, you can not do that. Your audience will see a normal GSM/CDMA number
How fast is sending SMS ?
- It depends on many factor : Your PC/Server,How many modem you use etc. But it is save to say, it send 100 message per minutes
